The MCIS-10 draws the participation of 700 delegates from 70 countries and six international organizations. During the event, there will be plenary sessions with topics on global security in a multipolar world, and regional issues amid global security: Asia-Pacific, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America. In his video address, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the significance of the conference in consolidating peace and stability in the region and boosting partnership and dialogues in a constructive manner. The committee said the information circulating online about a development project encroaching into the bay in recent days was "not true." S.Korea continues refusing guest workers from Vietnam’s Thanh Hoa due to visa overstays
South Korean authorities continue to reject work visa applications from residents of two districts in Thanh Hoa Province, north-central Vietnam, due to rampant visa overstays, according to a statement made at a conference in Hanoi. Workers from Hoang Hoa and Dong Son Districts in Thanh Hoa Province will likely continue to have their South Korean work visas rejected, said Le Dinh Tung, deputy director of the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs at the conference on Vietnamese workers and experts working abroad held in the capital city on Tuesday. The UK-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA), which officially took effect in May 2021, was one of the first trade deals inked by the UK after it left the European Union by the end of 2020, which reflected the importance of Viet Nam in the UK’s trade policy. Overseas Vietnamese strengthen Danang’s investment climate
On August 12, the Danang People's Committee in collaboration with State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (SCOV) held a seminar in Ho Chi Minh City to introduce Danang’s investment climate. The event attracted overseas Vietnamese to participate online from 19 countries and territories including the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Australia, Germany, Russia, Poland, Slovakia, England, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary, Thailand, and Mongolia. The event also saw the participation of 100 enterprises run by Vietnamese abroad.
