CPV Central Committee issues announcement about 9th meeting
At the meeting (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The 9th plenary meeting of the 12th Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee wrapped up in Hanoi on December 26 after two days of sitting. General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and President Nguyen Phu Trong chaired and delivered opening and closing speeches at the meeting. After discussing the Politburo’s reports, the CPV Central Committee issued an announcement. According to the announcement, the CPV Central Committee cast votes of confidence on 21 members of the Politburo and Secretariat of the 12th tenure. Overview of 12th Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee's ninth session (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The 12th Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee convened its ninth session on December 25, under the chair of Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong. During the session, members of the Party Central Committee are expected to discuss the personnel planning of the CPV Central Committee for the 2021-2026 tenure, and conduct a vote of confidence on members of the Party Central Committee’s Politburo and Secretariat. They will give comments on a review report on the leadership and instruction of the Politburo and Secretariat in 2018. Party Central Committee’s 7th session takes place in Hanoi The seventh plenary session of the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) concluded in Hanoi on May 12, completing all the contents of its agenda after six working days. During the seventh plenary session, the Party Central Committee came up with instructions, goals, tasks, policies and measures to continue accelerating salary reform, building and perfecting the system of job positions, and increasing the reform of social insurance policy.
