Among them are rare and endangered species listed in Vietnam's Red Book like the Delacour's langur. The other award-winning photo, of Vu Hai, depicts a dragon procession on Ngo Dong River in the Tam Coc-Bich Dong area, which has long been a tourist gem in the northern region, famous for its golden rice season. The Vietnamese Ministry of Health on Tuesday reported an additional 989 Covid-19 infections, raising the country's total tally to over 10.75 million. a Illustrative photo According to the ministry's report, most of the new patients are locally-transmitted cases confirmed in 43 out of 63 localities in the country. As of Tuesday evening, the number of Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to over 10.75 million. On July 5, an additional 9,759 more patients recovered from the disease, raising the number of recoveries in the country to over 9.72 million. On Tuesday evening, one death related to Covid-19 was recorded, raising the total fatalities to 43,089, accounting for 0.4 per cent of total infections.
