Vietnamese star footballer Nguyen Quang Hai is likely to make his first appearance for new side Pau FC in a friendly with FC Des Landes on July 8 (local time). Quang Hai scores a goal during recent training sessions in France. Head coach Didier Tholot will test out his squad in this preseason match, and Quang Hai will be given the opportunity to play his first match in Pau FC's jersey. This game is among four friendlies scheduled by French club Pau FC ahead of Ligue 2’s 2022 - 2023 season. Pau FC will later play Toulouse FC, Angouleme Charente FC and Niortais FC on July 12, 15 and 23, respectively. Quang Hai, 25, has recently joined the French squad under a two-year contract. The annual Toyota concert 2022 is expected to attract a large number of classical music lovers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Toyota concert 2022 season will feature two night concerts on July 27 in Ho Chi Minh City and August 5 in Hanoi following the success of previous performances. (Photo amro-asia.org) Hanoi (VNS/VNA) – Vietnam is expected to come out second only to the Philippines in terms of projected GDP for 2022 and on top for 2023, according to a recent Quarterly Update of the ASEAN + 3 Regional Economic Outlook. Specifically, the country was projected to achieve a growth rate of 6.3% this year and 6.5% next year, well above the region-wide figures which were estimated at 4.3% and 4.9% respectively. Compared to the previous update, Vietnamese growth rates were revised downwards to reflect the lower growth forecasts for China and the US, its major trade partners. IMF hails Vietnam’s moves to cushion COVID-19 impacts

In a press release following a recent consultation with Vietnam, the IMF Executive Board said a recovery is underway and high frequency indicators point to stronger momentum going into 2022, with rising retail sales, industrial production, and firm entry. Growth is expected to reach 6% in 2022 as activity normalisation continues and the programme for recovery and development is implemented. However, the recovery of the labour market is lagging as underemployment remains high.
