America's richest may be getting richer but President Donald Trump's fortune has slid by $600 million to $3.1 billion, according to a list of 400 billionaires released by Forbes magazine on Tuesday. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates topped the list for a 24th consecutive year on a net worth of $89 billion with Amazon's Jeff Bezos, worth $81.5 billion, number two. But Trump, the first U.S. president to come solely from the private sector, is ranked 248 -- sharing the spot with 27-year-old Snap co-founder and CEO Evan Spiegel, the youngest person on the list. Forbes attributed Trump's decline to a weakening New York retail and office real estate market, and new information about his assets. The Manhattan tycoon ranked 156 in 2016, the year he was elected to the White House. Dantri/DTiNews has started the construction of a kindergarten project in Nghe An Province on December 10. New Dantri classroom project launched in Nghe An In order to reach Hoa Xuan Village, travellers have to cross difficult mountain roads and it usually takes nearly one hour on a 15-km road to reach the destination. Even though the classrooms can't protect the children from the winds yet, Dantri readers have donated clothes to help them fight against the cold. Hoa Xuan nursery school site is part of Keng Du Commune Nursery School. All of the children there are from Kho Mu ethnic groups. The school only has one teacher who teaches and cooks for 23 children. Duy Thao, Dantri representative, said, "We can really experience your hardship after reaching the site. Cassava exports enjoy massive turnover increase throughout November
During November, the price of domestic raw cassava rose slightly from October. In Tay Ninh province, cassava could be traded from the factory at a price of between VND2,650 to VND2,780 per kilo, an increase of VND100 per kilo in comparison to the end of October, while in Kon Tum, cassavas could be purchased at between VND1,950 and VND2,100 per kilo. In contrast to the same period from previous years, demand from the Chinese market has yet to experience an upward trend, although it is anticipated that prices will not fall further due to an insufficient supply of cassava starch. Throughout November, the export of cassava and cassava-based products reached 230,000 tonnes, worth US$88 million, an increase of 30.7 per cent in volume and up 23.7 per cent in value compared to October. ADB forecasts Vietnam’s GDP to grow by 6.9 per cent during 2019
Illustrative image (Source: Internet) The ADB stated that in the ADOU2019 report which was first published in September, growth projections for Asia were downgraded to 5.4 per cent for the year and 5.5 per cent for 2020. However, in a supplementary edition of the report published on December 11, the region's GDP growth forecast was lowered to 5.2 per cent in both 2019 and 2020, a decrease of 0.2 and 0.3 per cent, respectively. The downgrade in the Asian growth forecast by the ADB’s comes amid the growth rates of China and India experiencing a decline as a result of both internal and external factors. In contrast to the region's downward trajectory, the ADB has given Vietnam an improved GDP growth projection, up from 6.8 per cent to 6.9 per cent for the year, and from 6.7 per cent to 6.8 per cent for 2020.
