The Japanese Embassy in Vietnam has launched a logo design contest to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations in 2023. The contest is open to all people, regardless of their nationality, age, or profession. Each applicant must only submit one entry which should be unpublished. Entries should be submitted via email to [email protected] by July 7 at the latest. All submitted works must help viewers to visualise the Vietnam – Japan special bond, the similarity and closeness between the peoples of both countries. The logo must also reflect the vigorous development of the relationship between the two countries, and the future of the ties over the next 50 years. In September the organisers will announce winners of the logo design contest on the website and Facebook page of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam, as well as other media channels. The National Postage Stamp Exhibition - Vietstampex is an opportunity for stamp collectors to share information on creating collections. Photo courtesy of Việt Nam Post HÀ NỘI — After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National postage stamp exhibition – Vietstampex will start tomorrow at the Việt Nam-Soviet Friendship Labor Culture Palace in Hà Nội. Events include a workshop on developing Việt Nam's stamp collection movement, an issuance ceremony for the stamp set 'Vietnamese Sea and Island' and the release of the stamp set 'Vietnamese Fairy Tales' over the course of three days, beginning on June 24. Vietstampex is a once-every-five-years event. The inaugural exhibition was held in 1998, and additional ones followed in 2000, 2005, 2010, and 2015.
