A fishing boat in Quang Tri Province was attacked by another boat from Quang Nam Province due to trade disputes. A video recording of the attack has been widely spread online. A source told Dantri/Dtinews that the incident occurred near Con Co Island at 5.45 pm on May 26. At that time, boat QT 915.88 operated by Hoang Ngoc An, 50, from Quang Tri Province was attacked by another boat QNa 902.99 owned by a fish trader named Tang in the neighbouring Quang Nam Province. "All six crew members on the Quang Tri boat fell into the sea following the collision caused by the Quang Nam boat. Luckily they were rescued and taken ashore by some nearby boats the same night," the source said.
