"She died after arriving at hospital," he said. In the other incident -- which ocurred just 10 miles (16 kilometers) away -- the pilot managed to eject from his plane but was killed when he hit the ground according to the official. Four days after the excavation of two skeletons which were initially believed to be of a Vietnamese pilot and his Soviet trainer, the Military Institute of Forensic Medicine announced its findings on Monday evening, and they were rather disappointing. The institute’s chairman Colonel Nguyễn Văn Hòa said that it was extremely difficult to run forensic tests on the remains, which were nearly 50 years old. Forensic examiners would have to determine the bone structure of the remains and if the bones still have enough DNA material for extraction. A Su-22 fighter jet carrying two pilots has crashed on July 26 while training in Nghe An Province. The fighter jet crashes in Nghe An Province on July 26 The accident occurred at 12 pm on a hill in Nghia Yen Commune, Nghia Dan District. After being informed by the locals, the authorities quickly arrived and cordoned off the scene. Initial reports show that the fighter jet belongs to Regiment 923 of the Vietnam People's Air Force in Tho Xuan District, Thanh Hoa Province. The two pilots were from Hanoi and Thai Binh Province.
