(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam expects to earn 600 million USD from tra fish export in the first quarter of the year, a year-on-year jump of 35 percent. Of the figure, exports to the US are estimated at 95 million USD (up 26 percent), China at 125 million USD (up 23.7 percent) and the EU at 67 million USD (up 21 percent). Experts have forecast bright prospects for tra fish exports this year based on robust market signs. Last year, tra fish shipments brought home a record of 2.26 billion USD and the figure is hoped to rise to 2.3 - 2.4 billion USD for 2019. Bamboo Airways to open 40 new routes
FLC Group introduces its logo recognition for Bamboo Airways (Photo: FLC) Hanoi (VNA) - FLC Group plans to open 40 local and international routes after its carrier, Bamboo Airways, becomes operational, said Dang Tat Thang, General Director of the airline. He made the announcement at the inauguration ceremony of the brand in Hanoi last week. He said the airline was planning its routes while waiting for approval of its licence. FLC plans to serve 24 domestic and 16 international routes. In Vietnam, the airline will connect tourism complexes, such as Thanh Hoa-Quy Nhon, Thanh Hoa-Phu Quoc, Thanh Hoa-Nha Trang and Hai Phong-Quy Nhon. In the international market, Bamboo Airways will cover Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Philippines. It also plans to open flights to the US and Europe in the long term. Ceramic producers seek to sustain exports

Vietnam has 14 traditional pottery villages like Bat Trang, Phu Lang, Dong Trieu, Thanh Ha, Phuoc Tich, Bau Chuc, Bien Hoa, Tan Phuoc Khanh, Chanh Nghia and Lai Thieu. According to the Binh Duong Ceramics Association, the province has nearly 300 ceramic production facilities supplying 130-150 million pieces of products of all kinds to the market each year. Binh Duong is one of the provinces with a developed ceramic industry, and it earns some 150 million USD from exports and 70 million USD from domestic sales annually.
