In his speech, Indonesian Ambassador to Mexico Cheppy Tri Prakoso Wartono, who is rotating chair of the ACMC comprising Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, highlighted the significance of the event, saying that it aims to further enhance intra-bloc solidarity and the ASEAN-Mexico friendship. Measures sought for 6.7-percent economic expansion
At the teleconference (Source: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) - Measures to reach the growth target of 6.7 percent in 2018 were discussed at a teleconference between the Government and localities on July 2. According to Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, to realise the yearly goal, GDP must reach 6.53 percent in the third quarter and 6.36 percent in the final quarter. However, he noted that the national economy would face many challenges in the second half of 2018 as the main drivers of growth are not as clear as in 2017. Trade tensions are spreading among the US, China and the EU, bringing both challenges and opportunities to Vietnam’s economy. Experts and local authorities discussed preservation efforts at a programme organised by the HCM City People’s Committee and the HCM City Television Station (HTV). Hai said it was important to strengthen state management to prevent the deterioration of heritage sites, adding that "what is lost can never return". It will spread across Binh Minh and Binh Duong communes. The 70.35 ha golf course will have 18 holes and an investment of VND500bn. It will operate for 50 years. The project is expected to be completed in one year after the construction starts. Lao Cai Golf Project is invested by Fansipan Sa Pa Cable Car Services and Tourism Company in Ban Qua Commune. With an investment of VND550bn, it has 18 holes and covers 80 ha. It will operate for 70 years and is expected to complete in two years after construction starts. Lao Cai Golf Project was proposed by Lao Cai provincial authorities. Over 60 ha are forest land, 14.9ha is agricultural land and the rest are housing land.
