Sharing information on opportunities for Vietnamese workers to develop their careers in Germany

With the German labor market's scarcity of highly skilled workers, this is an opportunity for Vietnamese workers to develop their careers in Germany. In order to help young people best prepare to work in Germany, the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam) and Saigontourist Hospitality College (STHC) organized the seminar "Working in Germany" on May 13. The seminar aims to provide information about opportunities, challenges, application process in Germany for foreign workers, the "ProRecognition" and "Hand in Hand for International Talents" projects. The French corporation gets about five million applications for roughly 15,000 new positions each year. The vast number of applications took up a great deal of L’Oreal’s money and time for the personnel selection process. Things got easier when the corporation adopted a modest approach by applying AI to the recruitment process in an intern programme. A representative of L’Oreal said that 12,000 applicants with 80 spots were quickly processed by AI, saving 200 recruiting hours compared to the previous full human-powered review process. SEA Games 31: Vietnamese archers secure two silver medals

Vietnamese archers (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnamese archers bagged two silver medals in the finals of the men’s and women’s teams recurve at the ongoing SEA Games 31 on May 18 morning. In the men's team recurve event, archers Nong Van Linh, Nguyen Duy, and Chu Duc Anh met Indonesian seasoned rivals. The Vietnamese athletes began the match well with 53 points in the first set compared to 51 points of Indonesian archers, winning 2 points in this round. However, the Indonesian team showed their excellent performance in the next rounds as the defending champions. They defeated Vietnam with a score of 6 – 2 after the four rounds.
