City kids learn how to grow vegetables Kim Ngan By Kim Ngan - The Saigon Times Daily It was unthinkable when ten-year-old Nguyen Thanh Binh at Anh Linh Primary and Secondary School in HCMC’s District 7 stammered upon the simplest question on the farmer’s job. “Where do vegetables come from?” was the question, but the boy, who seemed to know nothing beyond his lessons at school, said they all came from the supermarket. He is not the only child giving such a silly answer though.
