The event was attended by Chief of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command Major General Le Quang Dao, Deputy Head of the Military Youth Advisory Board Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong, and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Duy Tien town Pham Hong Thanh. The contest drew the participation of 68 high school students in the areas. The program aimed to raise public awareness of information about national sea and islands, as well as the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) 1982, the Law of the Sea of Vietnam 2012, and the Law on the Vietnam Coast Guard 2018, among others. The ceremony saw the participation of nearly 200 veterans from many cities and provinces across the country. During the ceremony, generations of Division 338’s veterans recalled the traditions of the division. In particular, Division 338 was founded on December 11, 1956 (descendant of units operating on the Southern theater in the resistance war against the French colonialists). At present, the division is stationed in Lang Son and Bac Giang provinces. The division is responsible for training officers and reserve force, defense and economic development in Bac Giang province and five border districts of Lang Son province, including Loc Binh, Dinh Lap, Cao Loc, Trang Dinh, Van Lang. HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Health announced that it has issued more than 14 million COVID-19 vaccine passports to the general public, a month from its official rollout on April 15. The passport is now available on the national COVID-19 app PC COVID-19 (available on both iOS and Android systems) or Digital Health (Sổ sức khỏe điện tử) apps. The vaccine passports have 11 fields of information: name, date of birth, nationality, the targeted disease, doses of vaccines received, date of vaccination, lot number of the vaccine batch, type of vaccine, vaccine product received, the vaccine manufacturer, and a code for the certification. Data has been encoded into a QR code. The code will expire after 12 months. Following their expiry, people will be notified, and a new QR code will be created.
