Recently, the Vietnamese government presided over the signing ceremony for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement which is forecast to create impetus for economic growth and trade for Vietnam in particular and other RCEP signatories in general. The office of the People's Committee of HCMC announced that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee, approved the policy of reducing 50 percent of stall rentals at city-based traditional markets during the period from July to December 2020 as proposed by the Department of Industry and Trade. Under COVID-19, the government has implemented various favourable policies to support companies to overcome the pandemic’s economic situation,” said KorCham chairman Kim Han Yong. “However, licensing for some large South Korean projects in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have been delayed due to lack of clear legal instructions and this caused many difficulties.
