The Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade has recently held a meeting with the Vietnam Maritime Administration about the lack of empty containers and rising rental charges. At the meeting, many firms in the fisheries, plastic and timber sectors have raised concerns over the unprecedented consecutive price hikes in the past three months.
