The Council of Rectors in universities in HCMC was approved including Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai who was voted to be Chairman while Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Duong Anh Duc was voted to be permanent Vice Chairman of the Council. Other vice chairmen of the Council include Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training Nguyen Van Hieu and Secretary of the Party Committee of HCMC Universities and Colleges Nguyen Thi Minh Hong. General Atlantic plans $2 billion investment in India, Southeast Asia
Global private equity firm General Atlantic plans to plough $2 billion into India and Southeast Asia over the next two years after falling valuations made the region's startups more attractive, a senior executive told Reuters . General Atlantic is in early-stage investment talks with about 15 companies in sectors including technology, financial services, retail and consumer, Sandeep Naik, the head of its business in India and Southeast Asia, said in an interview. The market for startups, especially in India, is going through a rough patch. Eureka Robotics plans to expand operations to Vietnam in July 2022
Eureka Robotics’ CEO and team The company plans to use the new capital raised to expand its operations beyond Singapore, where it is headquartered, and Paris, where it maintains an R&D office. The new office will be established in Hanoi in July. Eureka Robotics has also deployed factories in Singapore, China, and Japan. Touchstone Partners on May 17 announced that it participated in Eureka Robotics’ recently closed a pre-Series A round, which raised $4.25 million from a handful of investors. In this fundraising round, Touchstone joins the lead investor, the University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners, and existing investor ATEQ.
