He expressed his delight that despite the Covid-19 pandemic’s impacts, bilateral trade has still been on the rise, and Singapore is the largest ASEAN investor in Vietnam with 2,866 valid projects worth US$67.56 billion. The two sides should increase all-level mutual visits and effectively implement bilateral cooperation mechanisms and agreements, especially the Vietnam - Singapore ministerial meeting on economic connectivity. Besides, their parliaments should continue supporting connections in post-pandemic economic recovery and development, with focus on the areas of Singapore’s strength and Vietnam’s demand like innovation, green energy, digital economy, and supply chain diversification, PM Chinh suggested. SEA Games 31: Vietnam hope to rule finswimming events

(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s finswiming pioneers are aiming to claim 6-8 out of the 13 gold medals on offer at the ongoing 31st Southeast Asia Games ( SEA Games 31 ). When the sport was introduced at the 2003 SEA Games, Vietnam as the host swept 13 out of the 16 golds at stake, while in Laos 2009 and Indonesia 2011 took four and six golds, respectively. Besides Thailand and the Philippines, Indonesia is growing stronger in the sport with many talented athletes, whose stats are on par with Vietnam’s top finswimmers in some categories. Vietnam National University moved to Hanoi’s outskirt

The Vietnam National University's Hoa Lac campus is ready with all facilities and equipment for educational and research activities. The Vietnam National University (VNU)’s headquarter has been relocated to its newly built campus in Hoa Lac on Hanoi's outskirt this week. The campus is expected to be the most modern and advanced university town in Southeast Asia. Planned to cover about 1,113.7 hectares, the campus includes the Polytechnic School, a research center, and offices of the management board. Built with a total investment of VND22 trillion (nearly US$950 million), the college town consisting of nine member universities, eight institutes, 13 research centers, and four specialized high schools will provide training for more than 41,000 students. Venezuela university opens faculty on Vietnamese nation

Twin sisters reunited after 47 years thanks to citizen ID cards

They only found each other again after applying for citizen identification cards. According to the local police in Hoài Nhơn Township, Bình Định Province, the unit received an application for a card for a woman named Mai Thị Bền, living in Hoài Châu Bắc Commune. Colonel Võ Văn Thạnh, head of Hoài Nhơn township's police department, said that when processing Bền's image, the computer could not load it because her face was too similar to that of another citizen in Phú Yên Province.
