Vietnam confirmed an additional 11,527 Covid-19 infections on Wednesday and 11,919 patients were discharged from hospital following their recovery the same day, according to the Ministry of Health. According to the ministry's report, 11,525 of the new patients are locally-transmitted cases confirmed in 35 localities including HCM City (5,435), Binh Duong (4,179), Dong Nai (930), Long An (191), An Giang (186), Kien Giang (137), and Tien Giang (89). There were two imported patients confirmed today. The new infection number showed a decrease of 165 cases compared to yesterday's figure. There were 5,870 infections found in the community. Hanoi is ready to listen to recommendations and adjust plans for COVID-19 prevention and control as restrictions are eased in the capital city. People receive COVID-19 vaccinations in Hanoi.
