The week-long event, which started on June 26, is hosted by the Vietnam Trade Office under the Vietnamese Embassy in the U.K. in collaboration with the Vietnam Business Association in the U.K. (VBUK), and Longdan and EUTEK groups. Vietnam eyes stronger development of Halal industry

Vietnamese in US grapple with baby formula shortage
Since April stores and retailers in the area have gradually been running out of formula. To feed her 10-month-old son, Hien has been visiting Target, Walgreens and other stores far away from home, some even two hours away, only to find shelves that used to be filled with formula bare. Last weekend the 28-year-old rushed to a pharmacy 30 minutes away from her home in Anaheim, California State, after a friend called to tell her she saw it stocking baby formula. Fortunately, she was able to get one small tin. "But it is only enough to feed my baby for a week," Hien, who has difficulties breastfeeding, lamented. "I feel helpless when I can't even get the most basic product to keep my baby fed and nourished." USAID IPSC Project connects Vietnamese enterprises with e-commerce giants
From May 24 to June 30, the Vietnam Private Sector Competitiveness Enhancement Project (USAID IPSC), has organised a 5-week training course called “E-commerce – a must in Industry 4.0”, as part of its cross-cutting market expansion support package for Vietnamese businesses. At the end of the course, participants attended the event “Connecting business with domestic and international e-commerce platforms” to learn from successful, real-world experiences from e-commerce platforms including Amazon Global Selling and Shopee. According to Nguyen Thi To Uyen, head of the building business management capacity at USAID IPSC, the project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), with the support of the Ministry of Planning and Investment as the government partner.
