The festival is organized by the Hanoi municipal Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center, as part of the activities in response to Vietnam’s hosting of SEA Games 31. The event aims to popularize Hanoi capital as a safe, friendly, quality, and attractive destination and values of Vietnam’s cuisine and handicraft villages to both domestic and international visitors. Through varied activities, the festival is expected the help tourists learn more about Hanoi’s handicraft villages, including Bat Trang Ceramic Village, Van Phuc Silk Village, Phu Vinh Bamboo and Rattan Village, Quat Dong Embroidery Craft Village, and Chuon Ngo Mosaic Village, among others.
