SEA Games champion Đào Hồng Sơn made the most remarkable victories with all three wins by submission in the men's U56kg. "It was a hard-working day. But the result was so sweet, with three submission wins. Thank you for watching and encouraging me," Sơn posted on his Facebook page. Earlier, world champion Phùng Thị Huệ secured gold in the women's U45kg category. Hoàng Thị Nhật Quế won the women's U70kg class and Phạm Trí Dũng topped the men's U69kg pool. Nguyen finished first in the men's F40/41 javelin throw event with a score of 31m18 which brought him 815 points. Gurkan Uncuoglu of Turkey came second with 676 points. He was followed by Redouane Thabit of Morocco, on 551 points. It was Nguyen's second medal at the tournament, which delivers points for athletes for their Paris Paralympics qualification. On June 28, Nguyen earned a silver in the men's F40/41 shot put. Vietnam Team also took a bronze in the women's discus throw on the last day of the competition on June 29. Hanoi dancers win three gold medals at National Amateur Dance Competition 2022
The contest aims to contribute to preserving and promoting Vietnamese folk dance art among youth. Bodybuilder Mách aims to muscle his way to Asian gold

Mách is one of the best bodybuilders in Việt Nam, competing in the men's 55kg category and having won several national championships. The An Giang Province-born athlete grabbed five world championship gold medals in 2001, 2009, 2010, 2014 and 2017. He also triumphed in the continental competition eight times, taking seven titles in a row from 2004 to 2012, and another in 2014. At last month's SEA Games 31, the 46-year-old athlete overcame all other rivals to secure his second Games gold.
