The women's U18 team of Vietnam in a training session in Japan (Source: VNA) Tokyo (VNA) – The U18 female footballers of Vietnam have wrapped up a training course in Okayama prefecture of Japan to prepare for the coming ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U18 Women’s Championship in Indonesia. During the course starting on June 16, the team of head coach Ijiri Akira also played friendlies with the Vietnamese people’s team of the Vietnam - Japan Sports and Culture Exchange Association in Kansai, and Okayama Yunogo Belle – a club playing at the Japan Women’s Football League 2. The Vietnamese footballers also engaged in exchange activities with primary and secondary schools in Okayama prefecture. Vietnam to send 155-strong delegation to 11th ASEAN Para Games

(File photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnamese delegation to the approaching 11th ASEAN Para Games is set to comprise 155 members, including 122 athletes, according to the National Sports Administration . With 14 sports, the 11th ASEAN Para Games is scheduled to take place in Indonesia from July 26 to August 7. Apart from the 122 athletes, the delegation will also include 18 coaches, two doctors, and 13 cadres. They will compete in eight sports, namely athletics, swimming, powerlifting, badminton, table tennis, chess, judo, and archery. The administration said the athletes of Vietnam have made thorough preparations, and all are determined to achieve the best possible results to gear up for the fourth Asian Para Games in China’s Hangzhou and the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Rules on business in prize electronic games for foreigners

Illustrative image (Source: Getty Images) Hanoi – The Ministry of Finance has issued a circular guiding the implementation of some articles of the Government’s Decree No. 121/2021/ND-CP on business in prize electronic games for foreigners in Vietnam. Circular No. 39/2022/TT-BTC stipulates the appraisal fee for the grant and extension of business certificates at 150 million VND (6,428 USD), while that for the re-grant and adjustment stands at 5 million VND. After the appraisal, the finance ministry will inform enterprises about the payment, according to the document. The businesses are allowed to suspend the use of conventional currencies for management requirements, but they have to inform finance departments and tax agencies at least five days earlier through documents. The resumption of the use of the currencies must also be reported to these agencies. PAN’s reporter wins silver medal of “Moments of the SEA Games 31” photo contest

The results of the photo contest have been announced by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists. The only gold medal has been presented to photographer Luong Viet Son Tung (Hanoi) who took the “Vietnamese athletics surprised with a gold medal in the 100m hurdles SEA Games 31 of Bui Thi Nguyen” photo. The organizing panel has also presented another silver and three bronze medals and five consolation prizes to other participants. Launched in June, the contest has attracted the participation of both amateur and professional photographers from across the country. Vocational school students present recycled items at environmental protection event in Da Nang
