As part of activities under the framework of the World Economic Forum on ASEAN (WEF ASEAN) 2018, held in Hanoi from September 11 to 13, the ceremony was attended by Professor Klaus Schwab, who is the Founder and Executive Chairman of the WEF, and Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, who is head of the organising board of the WEF ASEAN 2018. Expressing his pleasure at returning to Vietnam, Professor Klaus Schwab said that the publication of the book in Vietnamese, on the occasion of the WEF ASEAN 2018, aims to raise public awareness of the importance of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (also known as Industry 4.0), spreading a deeper understanding of the revolution. Many people now prefer reading through electronic books (eBooks) and virtual reality (VR) books, meaning publishing houses will be left behind unless they manage to figure out a new orientation for their operations.
