Airlines in Vietnam are increasing the number of flights to serve high demand during the coming summer holiday. Vietnam Airlines Group, which operates Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, and VASCO has said they will conduct some 36,000 flights with more than 7.1 million seats, including 32,400 flights and 6.3 million seats on domestic routes between June 1 and August 15. With the current trading band of /-3 percent, the ceiling rate applicable to commercial banks during the day is 23,802 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,415 VND/USD. The opening-hour rates at commercial banks stayed stable. At 8:30 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,030 VND/USD, and the selling rate at 23,340 VND/USD, unchanged from the rates at the end of May 26.
