Vũ and his 100 crew members have spent two months filming in Lâm Đồng Province, including its capital and largest city, Đà Lạt. They will move to famous tourist sites, such as Lạc Dương Lâm Hà and Bảo Lâm districts, next week. Trại Hoa Đỏ is based on the novel of the same name by best-selling female writer Di Li (real name Nguyễn Diệu Linh), a pioneer in the Vietnamese detective literature genre in recent years. Bangkok (VNA) - The Thai government has decided to waive personal income tax for foreign actors when working in Thailand in the next five years, in a fresh bid to attract foreign crews to the country. Deputy Government Spokesperson Rachada Dhnadirek said on June 21 that the tax incentive is part of the government’s efforts to develop the country’s soft power. Thailand earned an average of 3.5 billion THB a year from foreign film crews from 2017 to 2021, with the revenue increasing to 5 billion THB last year. Incentives provided to foreign film crews include cash rebates of 15-20% of the expenses incurred in Thailand, with limits capped at 75 million THB, said Rachada adding that actors have been required to pay personal income tax while they were working in Thailand , despite the fact that they have to pay personal income taxes in their home countries as well. The seven-and-a-half minute work is a proof-of-concept film from Hành Trình Nhân Quả (Karma Journey), an animation project about the Linh World produced by Sun Wolf Animation Studio. The Linh World exists below the human world and is supported by a giant tree, called the karma tree. It is the home of creatures inspired from Vietnamese folk tales and real life including a kylin named Leng Keng. Kylin is a mythical creature with a lion’s head, a long tail and a dog-like body, that appears at temples, pagodas and mausoleums symbolising longevity, luck and good government. Vietnam has banned swimming and scuba diving at a popular central tourist spot in an attempt to revive its damaged coral reef, officials said Monday. The Southeast Asian nation boasts more than 3,200 kilometres of coastline with crystal clear waters, vibrant sea life and sandy beaches that are a huge tourism draw. Coral reefs across Southeast Asia have been badly hit by global warming, with scientists warning their degradation could have devasting environmental and economic knock-on effects. Recent photos taken off Hon Mun island -- about 14 kilometres from the city of Nha Trang and popular with divers thanks to its diverse ecosystem -- showed the reef bleached and damaged. "The Nha Trang bay management authority decided to halt swimming and scuba diving activities in areas around Hon Mun island," officials said. The seven-and-a-half minute work is a proof-of-concept film from Hanh Trinh Nhan Qua (Karma Journey), an animation project about the Linh World produced by Sun Wolf Animation Studio. Vietnamese folk tales and real life including a kylin named Leng Keng. The studio began the project Karma Journey in 2018, telling about an adventure of Leng Keng and his friends to save the Linh World from falling apart. Along with Karma Journey, the studio is working on another project, Tan Vien Phong Chau, about the Vietnamese legend of Son Tinh (the God of the Mountain) and Thuy Tinh (the God of the Sea).
