Some 59.1 million people were registered as internally displaced worldwide in 2021 -- an all-time record expected to be broken again this year amid mass displacement inside war-torn Ukraine. Around 38 million new internal displacements were reported in 2021, with some people forced to flee multiple times during the year, according to a joint report by the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC). That marks the second-highest annual number of new internal displacements in a decade after 2020, which saw record-breaking movement due to a string of natural disasters. A serial traffic accident between a car, whose female driver was said to be live streaming while steering it, a motorbike and an electric bicycle killed a 16-year-old girl in Lam Dong Province of Vietnam’s Central Highlands region on Thursday. The accident occurred at 7:40 am at the T intersection between 30 Thang 4 and Pham Ngoc Thach Streets in Da Teh District, Lam Dong, local police reported the following day. When N.Y.N., a 16-year-old high school student, was making a left turn into Pham Ngoc Thach Street in accordance with the traffic light there, N.D.T, a resident of Cat Tien District, rode his motorbike in the same direction and collided with N.’s bike, knocking the girl down to the road surface. Young people invent anti-cheating software for online exams
As the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic hit the country in 2021, students had to study and take exams online. However, cheating on online exams has caused headaches for schools. Hoàng Mậu Trung, Nguyễn Thị Thanh Tâm and Nguyễn Văn Nam, all aged 24, built an online exam system named EduExam, using artificial intelligence technology.
