(Source: VGP) Ben Tre (VNA) - The World Records Union ( WorldKings ) and the Vietnam Records Organisation ( Vietkings ) on July 1 recognised “Nguyen Dinh Chieu thi tuyen” (Collection of Nguyen Dinh Chieu’s Poems), a calligraphy book on poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu as the largest calligraphy book in Vietnamese of poet Chieu's poems in the world. The book's author, Vu Dang Hoc, was honoured as the maker of the largest calligraphy book on poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu in the world. The book, measuring 1.8m x 1.4m with an iron base and weighing 500 kilogrammes, was created by calligrapher Vu Dang Hoc to celebrate the 200th birth anniversary of poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu (1822-2022). Hanoi has recorded three infections caused by the BA.5 sub-strain of the Omicron coronavirus variant, according to the municipal Department of Health. A health worker takes samples for Covid-19 testing Speaking at a Friday meeting with the city people’s committee, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Health Vu Cao Cuong said that three local people had been found infected with the sub-variant BA.5 of Omicron at Bach Mai Hospital. "Three cases of BA.5 of Omicron infection have mild symptoms or no symptoms," Cuong said. "But this strain has been found to be spreading faster than other circulating variants such as BA.1 and BA.2."
