HCMC, VNU-HCMC sign cooperation program for socio-economic development

(Photo: SGGP) The program aims to serve the goals of socio-economic development and integration of the city and the southern key economic region in the 2022-2025 period, and implement VNU-HCMC’s main missions in researching, training and serving the community. New milestone in Vietnam’s relations with Hungary, UK

The five-day visits of Vietnam’s National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to Hungary and the UK marked a new milestone in bilateral relations, eventually contributing to the Vietnam-EU partnership. The Chairman’s official visit to Hungary was significant amid the 72nd anniversary of diplomatic relations and approaching the five-year mark of the comprehensive partnership (2018 – 2023). In addition, Hungary was Vietnam’s first comprehensive partnership in Central and Eastern Europe, as the former has been actively supporting Vietnam in both multilateral frameworks and also in Vietnam-EU relations. Vietnam to use small satellites to build capacity in Earth observation

(Photo: VNSC) Hanoi (VNA) – Potential plans and roadmaps were proposed to build national capacity in Earth observation using small satellite systems during a seminar held by the Vietnam National Space Centre (VNSC) at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) in Hanoi on June 30. In his remarks, VNSC General Director Assoc. Prof., Dr. Pham Anh Tuan said the Government in February 2021 announced a strategy for the development and application of aerospace science and technology by 2030, aiming to utilise achievements in the fields to address defence and security issues, strengthen management of environment and natural resources, monitor natural disasters and minimise their impacts, and provide related services for people. International Day of Yoga marked in Ba Ria – Vung Tau

Addressing the event, Vice Director of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Thi Anh Hong said that the International Day of Yoga is a chance for yogis to meet, exchange experience and spread Yoga spirit to the community, but also an opportunity for the Vietnam ese and Indian people to foster cultural exchanges, thus enhancing the sound relations between the two countries as well as Ba Ria-Vung Tau and India in particular. Da Nang offering preferential policies to attract investors

The Lien Chieu deep-water port project, on a planned area of about 450 hectares, will be the largest container port in the central region upon completion and be capable of berthing container vessels of up to 8,000 TEUs. The project consists of 2 components, with an implementation period from 2021 to 2025. Da Nang is now calling for investment in the project and offering incentives. “Port infrastructure investment is among the categories subject to incentives. Projects with investment of over 30 trillion VND will enjoy special investment incentives.
