HCM City (VNA) – Ho Chi Minh City attaches importance to and pledges to further foster cooperation with Germany in the time to come, said a local official. Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Vo Van Hoan made the statement at a festival to promote German culture in HCM City on November 28, which is part of activities to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam – Germany diplomatic ties. In his remarks, Hoan highlighted the development of all-around cooperation between the two countries, especially when Vietnam and Germany upgraded their ties to strategic partnership in 2011.
