Millions of children, including those in Vietnam, are victims of physical, sexual, and emotional violence in families, schools, and the internet. The Vietnamese Government has been making unremitting efforts to end violence against women and children over the past years, paying special attention to the negative impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on people. Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) Nguyen Thi Ha made the statement at the launching ceremony for the Blue Heart Campaign 2022 held in Hanoi on July 5. Themed “No tolerance to violence against children and women”, the campaign calls on people to take action in response to violence against children and women.
