HCMC’s Transport Department asked to accelerate Ring Road No.4 project

Map of  three Ring Roads The Ring Road No.4 project has a length of about 200 kilometers, connecting HCMC with neighboring provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An, and Vung Tau. It runs from Bien Hoa-Vung Tau expressway in Phu My Town in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province to Hiep Phuoc Port in HCMC. The section passing through HCMC is 17 kilometers; Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province is 18 kilometers, Dong Nai Province is 45 kilometers, Binh Duong is 49 kilometers and Long An is 71 kilometers. The Prime Minister previously asked HCMC and the provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An and Ba Ria-Vung Tau to implement the works of the sections running through every locality. 51.3 million USD invested in Vinh – Nha Trang railway renovation, upgrade project

The Vinh-Nha Trang railway will be upgraded with a total investment of over 1.2 trillion VND (Photo: sggp.org.vn) Hanoi (VNA) - The Ministry of Transport has approved the Vinh-Nha Trang railway renovation and upgrade project under the North-South railway with a total investment of over 1.2 trillion VND (51.3 million USD) from 2022 to 2025. The Railway Project Management Board under the Ministry of Transport was assigned to be investors in upgrading projects of roads, bridges and stations with a total length of nearly 1,000km. The project aimed at ensuring traffic safety, improving the quality of railway connectivity, enhancing the capacity of transport, creating favourable conditions for luring customers and cargo, and effectively exploiting railway infrastructure in the section of Vinh-Nha Trang. More trains to be added on Hanoi – Lao Cai rail route

(Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – The Hanoi Railway Transport JSC (Haraco) has said that it will run extra passenger trains on the Hanoi – Lao Cai route, starting from September, to meet the rising travel demand to the resort town of Sa Pa. There are currently only passenger trains running at weekends. From September 5, services from Hanoi to Lao Cai will be available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Trains will depart from Hanoi Railway Station at 10pm and arrive at Lao Cai Railway Station at 5:55am. From Lao Cai to Hanoi, services will be available on Wednesdays and Sundays, starting from September 7. Trains will leave Lao Cai at 9:30pm and drop off passengers at Hanoi Station at 5:25am. Vietnam’s digital transformation is designed to be based on three main pillars namely institution, infrastructure, and manpower. Digital transformation plays a major role in building an independent and integrated economy, Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh made the statement today. The country should not remain outside this process and building successful digital-based economy and society needs to begin with e-government, Chinh, who is also Chairman of the National Committee for Digital Transformation, said at the committee’s 3rd meeting on August 9. Military units well carry out gratitude work

The whole military has built 1,769 gratitude houses, worth more than VND 141 billion, for national contributors and policy beneficiaries across the country. The Ministry of National Defense alone has donated VND 6 billion to assist the construction of 75 gratitude houses for national contributors. In addition, defense agencies and military units currently take care of 1,489 heroic Vietnamese mothers and foster 121 children of wounded and sick soldiers. They have presented 505 savings books, worth more than VND 5 million, to national contributors and policy beneficiaries. Apart from that, units in the whole military have bought medical equipment and facilities for convalescent centers for national contributors and provided military uniforms for wounded soldiers who are being treated at centers. ADAF Service launches command exercise for regimental combat crews

Addressing the opening ceremony, Lieutenant General Vu Van Kha, Acting Commander of the ADAFS, stressed that the AFADS’s combat readiness mission and skies protection and management place urgent requirements on missile regiments, particularly to improve combined combat strength, combat readiness, collaboration, management of weapons and technical equipment, and so on. The exercise will give the units’ leadership an opportunity to evaluate the capability of commanding officer and collaboration of troops in a combat crew, especially in complicated combat conditions, thus contributing to organizing training programs in close line with reality. During the event, the combat crews will perform different tasks such as testing professional knowledge, building force movement plan for combat readiness shifting, making combat documents and plans, and practicing air defense missions to protect the assigned targets.
