Dak Lak wants to develop more solar farms
Despite there being no licensed projects under construction, the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak still wants to add solar farms to its planning. These projects' construction will be implemented on areas of destroyed forest, revoked agricultural projects The Dak Lak People’s Committee has proposed to add 14 more solar farms to the solar development planning of the province, in addition to the existing four projects, according to newswire Tuoitre. Almost all of the 14 projects will be developed in Ea Sup and Buon Don districts. Previously, in March 2017, Dak Lak granted investment certificates and signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with several companies for the development of solar projects with the total value of $3.3 billion.
