The Vietnamese general led a high-ranking Vietnamese military delegation to accompany Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh who was on his working trip to the U.S. to attend the ASEAN - U.S. Special Summit. Vietnam shares experience in increasing children’s access to education
In her speech at the May 17 event, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha introduced solutions that the Vietnamese Government has been implementing to increase children’s access to education, as well as to reduce the risk of school dropping out and child labor. The official said 94.4 percent of child population in Vietnam has gained access to education thanks to policies designed for the purpose implemented in parallel with those for social welfare and poverty reduction. Many models and solutions, including those supporting children at risk of labor exploitation to access vocational training, have been rolled out via Government- and international-funded projects, she added. The French corporation gets about five million applications for roughly 15,000 new positions each year. The vast number of applications took up a great deal of L’Oreal’s money and time for the personnel selection process. Things got easier when the corporation adopted a modest approach by applying AI to the recruitment process in an intern programme. A representative of L’Oreal said that 12,000 applicants with 80 spots were quickly processed by AI, saving 200 recruiting hours compared to the previous full human-powered review process. As soon as the match started, Vietnamese players launched continual attacks, but Myanmar managed to deal with those offences. The game’s turning point occurred in the 28th minute, when captain Huynh Nhu of Vietnam scored a header goal after receiving the ball passed in the air from Tuyet Dung. Goalkeeper May Zin New of Myanmar touched the ball but still failed to make a save. Vietnam have advanced to the women’s football final at the 31st Southeast Asian (SEA) Games by defeating Myanmar 1-0 at Cam Pha Stadium in northern Quang Ninh Province on Wednesday night. The hosts consecutively won the gold medal in the 2019 and 2017 tourneys while Myanmar claimed the bronze medal in those two editions. Wednesday’s game were much enlivened by the two teams’ excellence and 15,950 spectators at the stadium.
