Preparations for whole military politico-military conference reviewed
The event was attended by Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh and leaders of agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense. At the event, delegates watched videos briefing the military’s implementation of military and defense missions in the first half of this year and introducing new scientific and technological products developed by units in the whole military over the past time. Both videos were jointly made by the Office of the Ministry of National Defense, the Department of Military Science, and the Military Broadcasting Center. Ngoc Thao from HCMC, 32, said that one kilogram of bacon now costs between VND150,000-180,000 ($6.43-7.72), depending on whether it is purchased at a traditional wet market or a supermarket.
