Vietnam protests China’s bomber deployment to Paracel islands

The Vietnamese foreign ministry said deploying weapons and fighter jets to the Paracels not only violates Vietnam’s sovereignty but also complicates the situation in the East Sea. Vietnam has voiced objection to China deploying one of its modern bombers to Hoang Sa (Paracel) islands, saying that the act has violated the former’s sovereignty and jeopardized stability in the South China Sea. Previously, the Chinese Police sent an official dispatch to exchange information about Liang Lei , born in 1990, residing in Honghe county, Yunnan province, China. In 2019, Liang organised gambling. After being hunted by the Chinese Police, he fled to Myanmar, and then crossed the border to Vietnam in October 2020. He moved to many places in Vietnam and at last hid in Lao Cai. Vietnamese economy to perform well: AMRO

(Photo amro-asia.org) Hanoi (VNS/VNA) – Vietnam is expected to come out second only to the Philippines in terms of projected GDP for 2022 and on top for 2023, according to a recent Quarterly Update of the ASEAN + 3 Regional Economic Outlook. Specifically, the country was projected to achieve a growth rate of 6.3% this year and 6.5% next year, well above the region-wide figures which were estimated at 4.3% and 4.9% respectively. Compared to the previous update, Vietnamese growth rates were revised downwards to reflect the lower growth forecasts for China and the US, its major trade partners.
