There was one imported case. Hà Nội still topped the list of new transmissions with 381, followed by the central province of Nghệ An with 126. Additional 1,716 Covid-19 infections confirmed on Thursday
An additional 1,716 new Covid-19 infections were confirmed on Thursday, raising the national tally to over 10.70 million, according to the Ministry of Health. According to the ministry's report, most of the new patients are locally-transmitted cases confirmed in 48 out of 63 localities in the country with some localities seeing the highest numbers including Hanoi (381), Nghe An (126), Phu Tho (111) and Vinh Phuc (83). The northern province of Bac Giang today announced 1,012 cases to the national tally after reviewing counts in districts and towns. As of Thursday evening, the number of Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to over 10.70 million. The country now stands 12th among 227 countries and territories worldwide in the number of infections. On May 19, an additional 9,587 more patients recovered from the disease, raising the number of recoveries in the country to over 9.38 million. However, they hardly found a hotel room near the stadium where the match will take place, so they then drove the car to continue searching. Mr. Quan – a fan from Thanh Hoa Province who has just arrived in Viet Tri City after 5 hours of driving - said that he took his family members to Phu Tho to watch U23 Vietnam play the semi-finals.
