Hanoi (VNA) - The Viettel Posts Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Post) has opened an automatic logistics centre at District No.12, Ho Chi Minh City. The event marked a new development of Viettel Post in shifting from a post and delivery corporation to a logistics one, in an effort to become a leading technology-based logistics enterprise in Vietnam by 2025, the Quan doi Nhan dan (People’s Army) newspaper reported. Addressing the event, Director of Viettel Post Tran Trung Hung informed that in Vietnam, foreign logistics enterprises are currently controlling 80 percent of the market share. He suggested that domestic logistics companies should invest more in modern technology so as to enhance its competitiveness at home and in the international arena. New artifacts unearthed at Ho Dynasty Citadel
Thanh Hoa (VNA) - New documents that help in understanding the architecture of the Ho Dynasty Citadel in the north-central province of Thanh Hoa were unearthed during a recent excavation, Director of the Ho Citadel Heritage Conservation Centre Nguyen Ba Linh announced on January 25. For the main palace and the eastern part of the citadel in different historical periods, the artifacts will serve study purposes and restoration projects at the relic site, affirming its major and exceptional value. The large-scale excavation was carried out in two digs located in the central part of the citadel, spanning 8,000 sq m. Four traces of architecture from the Ho Dynasty (1400-1407) were discovered, along with two others dating back to the Le Dynasty spanning the period from the 15th century to the 17th century. Hanoi (VNA) – The 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, taking place from January 25 to February 2, has been highlighted by international media. The Associated Press (AP) on January 25 ran an article, saying that almost 1,600 delegates are attending the congress this week to approve future policy and help select the nation’s top leaders. Hanoi’s streets are lined with the Party’s hammer and sickle flags, national flags and posters to promote the congress, which is held every five years. Some 4,900 people involved with the event must each take two tests for the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
