Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - Experts believe the State's issuance of ownership certificates for non-residential real estate projects will solve existing difficulties in Vietnam’s real estate market. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment last week issued new guidelines about the land use regime and the certification of non-residential construction works, such as condotels. “These new guidelines bring positive signals to Vietnam’s real estate market at the start of this year, especially for hospitality developers and investors,” Su Ngoc Khuong, Senior Director of Investment, Savills Vietnam, told Vietnam News. “If the guideline is officially implemented, it will provide great support and leverage for the hospitality sector.” Hospitality investors have two main sources of income: selling second-home villas and condotels, and entertainment activities and leisure services in their projects. Ha Tinh (VNS/VNA) - Cage fish farmers in Thach Son commune, Thach Ha district, central Ha Tinh province, are investing to restore production after suffering heavy losses in early September 2019 due to heavy rains and flood that caused dozens of tonnes of fish to die. Song Hai village was the most popular place for raising cage fish in Thach Ha district. Local fish farmers turned to caged farming to take advantage of the Do Diem River that crosses through the area. The products are consumed in the province and in other large markets in the northern region such as Hanoi and Quang Ninh province. The wind power plant located in Vinh Phuoc Ward in Vinh Chau Town in Soc Trang Province is invested by the BPP Vinh Chau Wind Power, a subsidiary of Banpu Power Company of Thailand. The wind power project has a total capacity of 65 MW. It is expected that the project will be put into operation from 2020 to 2021. Of which, the total investment for the first stage is more than VND1.36 trillion for the install of seven wind turbines with a capacity of 29.4 MW. Once coming into operation, the power plant will be connected easily to the national power grid via the existing 110-KV power lines and the 110-KV station in Vinh Chau Town. Soc Trang Province has many advantages in geographical location and natural conditions for the development of wind power.
