The Labor Confederation and the Women's Union of District 5 sign an agreement on the coordination to support female workers in the 2022 – 2027 period. In the past five years, the Labor Confederation and the Women's Union of District 5 carried out many activities to improve legal knowledge for female workers. Through activities and movements, 89 members and 99 typical union members joined the Party. Vietnam and Laos join hands to protect border areas
At the working session, both sides informed each other on the border protection and management, especially the fight against human trafficking, preventing and fighting drug-related crimes. Over the past time, the national border sovereignty of the two sides has been well maintained, while security and order situation along the border areas of Kon Tum and Attapeu provinces have been always ensured. Both sides have strictly controlled activities and conducted patrol along the borderline, made recommendations to authorities at all levels to develop economy, culture and society in the areas. See-off ceremony held for troops joining Army Games 2022

UN Women, Japan join hands to mitigate Covid-19 impact on Vietnamese women
Evidence over the past year confirmed that the pandemic had a regressive effect on gender equality. As many as 5,000 poor and vulnerable women in Vietnam would benefit from a one-year project against the Covid-19 impact launched on August 2 by the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and the Government of Japan.
