At the event, Dr. Khamla Keoounkham, vice director of the academy, said that the teaching and studying of the works has a practical meaning, creating favourable conditions for researchers, scholars and teachers as well as other people interested in President Ho Chi Minh's ideology to access the late Vietnamese leader’s works. ‘Pioneer the Possible’: Sweden, Vietnam jointly work toward sustainable development
A two-day event kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday afternoon, featuring an exhibition and various discussions on the cooperation between Vietnam and Sweden in the field of sustainable development. Vietnam boxing champ to defend IBF Asia belt against Filipino opponent
The IBF Asia lightweight champion will fight Jules Victoriano on July 30. The match will take place at The Grand Ho Tram Strip Resort in the southern beach town Vung Tau. In April, at the IBF-WBO 4 Titles Match event, also hosted at The Grand Ho Tram, Quan defeated Delmar Pellio of the Philippines in the title match after 10 rounds. The victory helped Quan bring Vietnam the first title of the International Boxing Federation or IBF, one of the big four boxing federations in the world. Quan’s next opponent, Victoriano, is another talented Filipino boxer with 15 professional fights (11 wins, four losses and eight knockouts). Victoriano is 325th on the world ranking of lightweight boxers, while Quan is 228th. So far, Quan has fought 10 professional matches in his career, with eight wins, one draw and one loss. Children with disabilities are taught to play hockey The summer camp taking place on July 2 at the Ho Chi Minh City Sports and Sports Training and Competition Center in District 11 aims to reduce the anxiety of families with children with intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome and help children integrate into the community. Special children including children with intellectual disabilities, children with Down syndrome, and autism often have difficulties in communicating and controlling language, behavior, and emotions when interacting with society and the world around them. However, they have a need for sports activities. Through these activities, disabled children are physically trained as well as helped to enhance social interaction and communication.
