According to the ministry's report, the 47-year-old woman landed at the Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on January 10. She was sent to a local quarantine area upon arrival and tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 in her second testing on January 24. The patient is now being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases. With this new infection case, the number of imported Covid-19 patients in Vietnam has increased to 855. As of 6 pm on January 25, a total of 1,425 Covid-19 patients had recovered and been discharged from hospital.
