Activities and initiatives regarding Hanoi are part of the “dual goal,” as culture always serves as momentum for the development of any city, according to historian Duong Trung Quoc. Nostalgic works The jury panel has selected dozens of works, ideas and deeds over the past years for nominations. Sơn La's mangoes and longans are being sold in Big C Thăng Long supermarket, Hà Nội. — VNS Photo Mai Hương HÀ NỘI — Mangoes and safe agricultural products from Sơn La Province are being introduced at Big C Thăng Long supermarket in Hà Nội. The week-long event, organised by Sơn La Provincial People’s Committee in collaboration with Central Retail Vietnam, is an effort to promote high-quality provincial products to the capital city’s consumers. The event has attracted 15 businesses and cooperatives, introducing both fresh fruits and vegetables such as mango, longan, avocado, guava, banana, Mộc Châu pumpkin, cabbage and zucchini to processed foods. Over 4,000 runners join Ben Tre Marathon in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region
More than 4,000 participants took part in the 2022 Ben Tre Marathon in Ben Tre Province, located in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta region, last weekend. The race was one of the activities held to celebrate the 200th birthday of Vietnamese poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu and his UNESCO recognition as a World Cultural Celebrity, as well as part of the provincial traditional cultural festival. In addition to competition expertise, the tournament was meant to promote the development of tourism in Ben Tre among local and international sports lovers. Among its major markets such as Japan, the RoK, China and Thailand, Thanh Hoa has paid special attention to the RoK – a leading partner of the province for years.
