According to the Management Authority for Urban Railways (MAUR), floor B1 of Ba Son Station of Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien) has been basically completed. This construction was completed 31 days earlier than scheduled on May 30, 2021.
This testifies great efforts by the MAUR and the contractor Shimizu-Maeda during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ba Son Station, together with the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House and Ben Thanh Station, are the three underground stations of Metro Line 1.
In the coming time, the MAUR will continue to coordinate with relevant units to speed up the construction of the next items of the project such as energising at the Binh Thai electricity station, importing the next trains, and installing track systems on the whole route, speeding up the construction progress.
