Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, who is Head of the Defense Ministry's Steering Board for Administrative Reform and E-government Development, chaired the conference.
In the first half of 2022, the administrative reform and e-government development was constantly directed and implemented by the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels.
The mission's plans were issued in a timely manner and conducted seriously while relevant legal documents continued to be completed. The building and development of e-government and digital government witnessed positive outcomes while the information safety and security was enhanced.
The defense ministry integrated 23 administrative procedures into the national public service portal, established software to manage documents and files with digital signature, and more.
Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh applauded achievements of the whole-military in administrative reform and e-government development in the first half of 2022. He urged the units to continue accelerating the task implementation to fulfill the set targets in the second half of 2022.
Particularly, the deputy defense minister required the whole-military units to enhance information dissemination to raise troops' awareness of the content and meaning of administrative reform and e-government development, complete the plan of 2022, and deploy new software for documents and files' management to affiliated units and organs, integrate all administrative procedures into the national public service portal, and so on.
