Over 1,500 people participate in “International Yoga Festival – Da Nang 2022”

More than 1,500 people to participate in “International Yoga Festival – Da Nang 2022”.

This information was announced at the press conference on the “International Yoga Festival – Da Nang 2022” on May 27, organised by the Union of Friendship Organisations of Da Nang City in collaboration with Baoviet Life Corporation.

The International Yoga Festival – Da Nang 2022 was organised by the People’s Committee of Da Nang City.

This is an important foreign policy activity for Da Nang City in a series of events and activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of Vietnam – India diplomatic ties (January 7, 1972 – January 7, 2022) and the 8th International Day of Yoga (June 21).

The festival aims to promote the dynamic and hospitable image of Da Nang's land and people closer to domestic and international tourists, contributing to strengthening cohesion, exchange, solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the people of Da Nang and the people of India.

The event is an opportunity to disseminate to the community the usefulness of practising yoga for public health, contributing to improving the spiritual and physical life of local people. At the same time, it is also a good chance for yoga lovers to exchange, perform and learn together.

To date, more than 100 coaches have registered to support the festival and more than 1,500 members have signed up to perform at the Yoga festival.
