During the program, students were provided with basic knowledge on the Vietnam Border Guard Law, including six chapters, which was effective from January 1, 2022. The Law on Vietnam Border Guard includes the task of protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security.
It also clearly defines the functions and tasks of the Border Guard force, as well as of the whole political system at all levels in the construction, management and protection of national sovereignty over border areas, sea and islands, meeting two strategic tasks of building and defending the Fatherland in the current context; building the borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
The program contributed to raising students' awareness of the Law on Vietnam Border Guard, so as to promote their responsibility in protecting national sovereignty over border, sea and islands areas.
In the framework of the event, leaders of Ha An Secondary School also instructed the students to prevent accidents and injuries during the coming summer vacation.
