Troops help people overcome consequences of whirlwind and hail

PANO – 50 cadres and troops from military units in Lao Cai city and districts of Bat Xat, Bao Yen and Sa Pa, Lao Cai province were mobilized to overcome the consequences left by the whirlwind and hail on April 5 ^th .

The provincial Steering Board for Flood and Storm Control, Search and Rescue reported that the whirlwind and hail in the evening of April 5 ^th left behind no human losses but unroofed 70 houses and collapsed some facilities in Quang Kim commune.

After the whirlwind had gone, under the instruction of the Lao Cai provincial Military Command, military units and local authorities and party committees mobilized forces to assist local people to overcome the consequences and to stablise their lives.
