Serious traffic congestion on HCM City streets

Main streets including Cong Hoa, Truong Trinh, Au Co, Ly Thai To, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh have seen serious traffic jams, especially during rush hours.

A truck driver, Tran Van Hao, said that it took him more than four hours to drive two kilometres from Thu Duc intersection to Hanoi Highway. “We have a lot of shipping orders at this time of  year but the traffic jams have made me unable to complete my work,” he said.

Traffic police were sent to Hanoi Highway to direct the traffic.
