A VN guestworker dies of COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia A female Vietnamese guestworker of Ca Mau province has recently died of COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia, confirmed a local official. She was infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and killed by the virus on November 16. On November 23, relevant agencies visited her family, extending condolences, providing financial assistance and pledging to ensure the female worker’s interests during her working time abroad. The female worker was cremated and re-buried in Saudi Arabia according to the regulations of the Saudi Arabia government. Saudi Arabia is one of Vietnam’s labour export markets in the Middle East.
