B&M sell Ben & Jerry’s tub of ice cream that’s 10 times bigger than usual for £5

As parts of the UK have been hit with a mini heatwave, what better way to relax after a hard day at work than with a bowl of ice cream – and Ben & Jerry’s fans have been rushing to discount store, B&M , to get their hands on a rather larger than life tub for less than you'd expect.

Yes B&M is selling giant tubs of Ben & Jerry's ice cream that's a staggering 10 times bigger than your average from the supermarket.

Available for just £5, the 4.5 litre tub of peanut butter cup is in stock now at your local B&M . To find your nearest, we've popped the store locator here . You'll also find opening and closing time information listed there as well.

Sadly this is the only flavour available at the moment but we're hoping others might join soon.

A standard size of Ben & Jerry's usually sets you back around £4.50 (for 465ml) – that's about £43.50 for the same amount that B&M is selling – wow. And a saving of £38.50.

Usually, these tubs would be used and stocked in places like restaurants, cinemas and theme parks but because of the pandemic this year – closures and restrictions, business haven't needed to stock up as much. And rather than it going to waste, B&M is now flogging it for much less.

Great news for us hey? We're clearing out the freezer as we speak.

It's also worth noting that the ice cream isn't going to be a regular edition available in stores and also, won't be restocked once it's sold through so get it whilst you can.

You can always buy the standard size tub of Ben & Jerry’s from supermarkets like Tesco , Sainsbury’s – where it’s currently on offer at £2.50 on selected tubs, Asda and Waitrose – where you can get two tubs for £6.
